রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের অসামান্য সৃষ্টি হল ‘সহজপাঠ’। ১৩৩৭ বঙ্গাব্দের বৈশাখ মাসে প্রথম ‘সহজপাঠ’ প্রকাশিত হয়েছিল। ছোটোদের সহজ সাবলীল চলিত গদ্যে বাংলা ভাষার শেখানোর উদ্দেশ্যে রবীন্দ্রনাথ সহজপাঠ বইটি লিখেছিলেন। অলংকরণ করেছিলেন বিখ্যাত শিল্পী নন্দলাল বসু। বাংলা বর্ণমালার প্রাথমিক ধারণা, তাদের কাঠামো, উচ্চারণ, বাক্য, অনুচ্ছেদের মধ্যে শব্দ ব্যবহার এবং ছড়ার গঠন সহজ ভাষায় রবীন্দ্রনাথ বর্ণনা করেছেন।

Shohoj Path is one of the most outstanding creations of Shohojpath which was first published in 1337 as per the Bengali calendar. Tagore had primarily written this book to create a better understanding of Bengali language among the children. Renowned artist Nandalal Bose had illustrated this book. Tagore has described the concepts, structure, use of words in a paragraph and pronunciation of Bengali alphabets in a simple way through Shohoj Path.
